Hey hey! I'm back again and I am enjoying class 4 with mentor Brett Coderre! Brett is a very knowledgeable and passionate about animation and has great feedback! I have "finished" my Big Bucks dialog...for now and I am moving on to the two character dialog. Here is my Big Bucks shot rendered.

I will be posting my blocking for my two char dialog soon so keep an eye out! :)

Hello everyone! I will be starting back at AM in class 4 June 30th.
So right now I will be updating my website with a couple new animations. I'll also post my new reel once i get the edit done. Just hold tight! :)

Term 3 under way!!!

Term 3!!! (yes..I need to post more often...)

So I've started term 3 here at Animation Mentor (the online animation school!) and it is going well! This term is Into to Acting. My mentor for this term is Jason Taylor! It's kind of crazy that I've got JT as a mentor because I've been talking to him online for several years, and now I get to actually see him face to face each week haha. Jason is very knowledgeable and I am looking forward to leaning so much from him this term. I also have wonderful classmates this term as well! (Like always) At least this term has a nice mix of male and female students from all different walks of life:) So I know we will learn from everyone else's experiences.

Hello everyone! Yes, it is term 2 now and so far it is great! My new mentor is Brian Mendenhall who is an animator over at Tippet Studio and a wonderful mentor. It is week 3 going on week 4 and I have already learned so much! I will try and post up my work as I go.

Ok guys...first off It has been a while since I've put up any updates! It was a busy and fun first term here at animation mentor! I want to thank Nicole Herr (animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks) for being a wonderful mentor and instructor to me and my whole class. I also want to thank all my classmates for their input and knowledge. Thanks to all the animators for great QandA sessions on the films they've worked on! Thanks Peer buddies and Campus mentors! Thanks Bobby "BOOM" Beck, Shawn Kelly and Carlos Baena for starting and maintaining such an amazing school! Thanks to my family for their support and my wonderful girlfriend Naomie as well. Most importantly I thank God for allowing me to pursue what I love to do...animate!!! This has really been a great term and I am looking forward to term 2!

Hello everyone! This is my first post so here I go. This past weekend was great! I made it out to San Francisco to the 2nd Annual Animation Mentor BBQ. There I got to meet follow AM students, AM grads and AM founders Bobby Boom Beck, Shawn Kelly and Carlos Baena! I enjoyed my time there and felt the talent and joy from everyone at the BBQ. Too bad I didn't get to stay long and meet more people. I had to leave at 3:00pm to drive back to Santa Ana (about 8 hours) so I could catch my plane that next morning back to Kansas City. At least I got a chance to go and I enjoyed it!

This past Monday was my first day as a student at Animation Mentor and I am looking forward to Class 1. My mentor is Nicole Herr animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks! She is really nice and the Q and A was fun:) I look forward to taking in the knowledge and learning as much as I can.
